Thanks @Rot Box - assume I appreciate all your advice since this is my 1st 4 stroke ATK - and I been out of the game since... 2007 except for minor screwing around. I have been doing a lot of reading.IDK if this matters - but the dayco belt in the box looks new, I would assume the words on the outside of the belt would be gone if it weren't? There are no markings left on the belt in the engine, visually it looks OK - no cracks, etc. The PO sent me a video of it starting/idling/running/revving. Regardless, I am going to order a new belt.
- I did start it, warmed up/idles. I am at sealevel.
- The seat is comfy, not sure what foam is in it but it is there.

- the front left shock dust wiper is missing it's spring.
- mismatched bolts holding the seat on.
- the front acerbis baja is slightly melted down by the exhaust.Need to dig my way down to the battery - not sure what I was expecting, but it's not what I was expecting. But makes sense... buried under the air cleaner.
I'm going to say this bike is fine... I'm the mess.

I need a helmet. There is a cycle gear open today up the street.
Pants? Boots? Riding gear would be nice. Evidently my gear went with my 260LQ. Or my brother stole them... REALLY?!?!?! Probably had spider eggs in it all anyhow.I got to make some room in the garage.
I'm 6' - but step in a rut and that 38" inseam can become an unexpected off-camber 44+... I've done 0MPH fall overs on the LQ - cost me a clutch cover once and it was hard to get in 2002.
