A multi-billion-euro industry

The beverage industry as such includes the manufacture of various alcoholic drinks, as well as non-alcoholic ones and mineral water. Generating around 21.2 billion euros worth of total revenue in 2021, the industry employed close to 61.5 thousand people in the same year. Earnings are expected to grow in the next years. Forecasts predict that beverage manufacturing will bring in as much as 33.53 billion U.S. dollars worth of revenue in 2022.

What about beer?
