  1. You were right these dumpings are easy to make. I made them in my chicken paprikash, added them to the broth, before I added the sour cream. They were moist and had a good flavor! I'll use this recipe for all my dumpling dishes! THANKS... Oh.. I'm glad I made a double batch!

  2. These were very good. Next time I'll add just a little more salt. Had with a brothy vegetable soup. I think next time I'll also add some grated parmesan. Easy to make. I'll do this one again.

  3. These are the best!I've tried to make dumplings before, but they came out rock hard. These were light, fluffy, and delicious. I added a half tsp of chicken bullion granules to the milk, and upped the salt to 1/2 tsp. Perfect! I will use these for every dumpling dish from now on.

  4. We had left overs from the night before. We had used our Ronco rotisserie for a full chicken and there are 3 of us. We decided we wanted Chicken Soup and pulled the chicken into pieces. Added some seasoning and chicken broth and then decided the snow made chicken and dumplings is what we wanted. The Dumplings are the best we have ever had and so easy. We actually made them about a quarter of the size recommended and they stayed wonderful the next day making a GIANT stockpot of soup.

  5. Very good. Made dumplings for the first time last night to add to a homemade chicken soup. I 1/2 the recipe and added 1 teaspoon ground pepper to the mixture. I decided to roll out the dough (a little thicker than a pie crust) and cut into little strips that I then cut into squares (saw this on Triple D). I added to the chicken soup and simmered for about 12 minutes and served to the family. Everyone loved it, reminded my husband of his grandmothers dumplings.

  2. Quick, easy and delicious. I used half whole wheat flour and half white flour. I also added a favorite herb blend and substituted for the dairy. Instead of butter I used lard and instead of milk I used water.

  3. These were so good! I made 32 dumplings instead of 16. I was putting them in soup and it seemed to be a much more appropriate size. I used water instead of milk, which worked fine, and I substituted 1 cup of matzo meal for 1 cup of the flour, just because I have some to use up. Delicious!

  4. These were the lightest dumpling I have ever made, and easy to put together. I added Spike seasoning instead of salt, but other than that followed the directions. I did drop them from a spoon rather than roll them in my hand, but they were so-o-o good! Thanks, Carole in Orlando

  5. This is an excellent recipe. I have never made dumplings before, and they came out perfect. I substituted soy milk for the milk because of our allergies. I also used 1 3/4 cup whole wheat flour instead of white flour. We had nice fluffy dumplings in our chicken soup. Cook for fifteen minutes instead of only ten.
