samosa chaat recipe | how to make samosa matar chaat recipe with step by step photo and video recipe. chaat recipes are very common across india and are made with different locally available snacks. but then there are couple of chaat recipes which are common across india and has a huge fan base to it. one such popular chaat recipe is samosa chaat which can be made with any left over samosa or perhaps with freshly deep fried ones.

i had previously posted this recipe but there were quite a few drawbacks in it. firstly, i had not used any gravy which is a must and makes this chaat more appetite. previously my intention was to make it simple and with less ingredients. but i started getting many queries regarding the gravy or sauce used in many samosa chaat. well in north india, many street vendors use channa or chole masala. but i personally like white peas or matar gravy in my chaat recipes. hence i have used the same in this recipe which is also popularly known as ragda gravy. you can serve it with chana masala if you have any left over but you may feel it very heavy as you have chickpeas and also samosa in your chaat. but it is completely open ended in that scenario.

while the recipe is mainly assembling and crushing the samosa, yet some tips, suggestions and variations to samosa chaat recipe. firstly, if you are preparing this recipe with any left over samosa, i would heavily recommend to pre-heat the samosa before using it. you can either deep fry quickly for 1-2 minutes in low flame or microwave it. secondly, while crushing the samosa, ensure it still holds the samosa shape and not fully crushed to small pieces. lastly, once the chaat is assembled, it has to be served immediately. if you are planing to serve to the guests, assemble it after they arrive. it does not take huge amount of time to assemble if you have pre-made the samosa and gravy well ahead in advance.
