CPTV Passport is a benefit available to sustaining members who donate at least $5 per month, or members who donate $60 or more. How can I watch it? Do I need special equipment?
Passport content can be streamed on smartphones, tablets, computers, or TVs through the PBS Video App and the Connecticut Public Mobile App, as well as on PBS.org and CPTV.org.
You may need special equipment, such as a Roku, Apple TV, Chromecast, or Fire TV in order to use Passport on your television.
Programming on Passport
The CPTV Passport library currently offers members more than 1,000 episodes to watch, with new PBS programs being added weekly. Click here to view this week's new additions.
The library features episodes from popular programs like American Experience, American Masters, Antiques Roadshow, Nature, NOVA, and Masterpiece, including past seasons and advance access to current seasons of such Masterpiece series as Grantchester.
In addition to these signature series, the library is full of public television’s acclaimed arts and performance, science, history, documentary, and lifestyle programs, including Great Performances, POV, and Austin City Limits, as well as a rotating selection of films from Ken Burns. Episodes of popular dramas like Last Tango in Halifax and Frankie Drake Mysteries are also available.

Once you've activated your Passport benefit, you can watch videos online at any time by visiting PBS.org. There is no separate Passport website. Passport and non-Passport videos can be found in one place! To get started, sign in at the top of the site by selecting Sign In.
Do I need to carry my passport with me in Italy? ›

No, you can't use a photo of your passport to travel. However, having a photo handy can make it easier to replace your passport if it's lost. Snap a quick shot of the inside, so you can see your passport number and other info. And remember: in case of lost or stolen documents, call 24-Hour Hotline Assistance for help.
Keep the Passport in a Safe Place
A small, portable lockbox may be a better option. If you need to keep the passport on your person, there are other options. Avoid leaving the booklet in a back pocket, as this is ideal for thieves. A money belt attached to your body would be the safest, portable option.

Once your benefit is ready for activation, your PBS station will send you a four-word activation code or an activation link to click on. These codes are unique for each member, but each will follow the same format, such as apple-house-river-sleep or lion-coyote-ostrich-badger.

PBS Passport is simply an additional member benefit that offers eligible station donors extended on-demand access to a library of videos. It is entirely up to you whether or not you wish to activate PBS Passport.
Why can't I get PBS Passport on my smart TV? ›
At this time PBS Video is not supported on Smart TVs that do not use Android, such as Samsung, Vizio, or LG Smart TVs. All compatible Android Smart TVs will have a Google Play Store app on their TV where they can download the PBS App for Android.
