Should I open secret packs in master duel? ›

If you want to build a deck centered around a certain archetype, Secret Packs are the way to go. There's a very good chance of opening a good number of staples, and you'd Dismantle what you don't need to finish the deck anyway, the same way you'd do with cards from Master Packs.

How to link summon master duel? ›

So, to summon a link monster with a link value of two, you'll need to sacrifice two monsters on your field. When you've chosen the monsters to sacrifice, they are removed from the board, and your chosen link monster will get summoned onto the field. It is that easy.

Power of the Dragon is the best starter deck to choose in Master Duel. It teaches the basic fundamentals of a Duel without being having complicated mechanics that need to be learned. It also has overall stronger attacking power compared to the other two Starter (Structure)Decks.

What is the highest tier in Master Duel? ›

Players begin their journey in the lowest rank, Rookie Tier 2. The game will match players with those of similar Rank to ensure a fair match where possible. By winning Duels repeatedly, they can ascend the ranks, capping out at Master Tier 1.

What is the best structure deck to buy in Master Duel? ›

In my opinion, it is Salamangreat. Compare to Ninja and Blackwing, it is easier to understand and to pilot. Apart from staple URs like Ash and Maxx C, you really only need Accesscode Talker. Promethean Princess is a good card, but after many games, I think it is not that necessary.

How do you make a strong deck in Master Duel? ›

The Golden Ratio: It's recommended that a 40-card deck has 20 Monster Cards, 10 Spell Cards, and 10 Trap Cards. This helps balance out a deck's strategy to that of Monsters being heavy hitters, with Spells aiding them and Traps hindering the opponent's movements.
