2024 World Championship Announced
Konami has announced that the 2024 World Championship will be taking place on September 7-8 in the United States!
This will be Master Duel's second appearance in the event, following last year's debut!

A New Selection Pack has been released after maintenance on May 9th, 2024!
This new Card Pack features additional support to Salamangreat and other Cyberse-related archetypes, as well as the debuts of two retrain-centric archetypes in Horus and Memento!

A Full Course of Magic Secret Pack Released
After the maintenance update on April 24 2024, a new Secret Pack has been added to the in-game shop called A Full Course of Magic, providing the Nouvelles and Suship archetypes their very one Secret Pack, among other cards themed around food!

May 1 2024 Banlist Update
Another banlist update is happening at the very start of Season 29 of Ranked Duels, with three cards currently slated to have playability changed!
Nightmare Arrivals Selection Pack Announced
A new Selection Pack has been announced to be available starting April 11, 2024, and but this one is special; this Selection Pack release features the debut of the Illusion-type monsters into Master Duel, just a year after they were introduced into the TCG and OCG in 2023!

The Next Platform for Professional Tournaments
It was confirmed by Konami's Senior Producer, Kenichi Kataoka, in their official Master Duel trailer that Master Duel will be the next platform for official Yu-Gi-Oh tournaments. If you're looking for a competitive scene to play one of the most famous card games of all time, Master Duel is a great place to get started!
Welcomes New Players and Veterans Alike
Synchro? Fusion? Link Summon? XYZ? Pendulum? Master Duel has it all! Veterans will feel at home with Master Duel's freedom in deck making, as most of the latest decks will be available (depending on non-banned cards) to the players that are active within the Yu-Gi-Oh competitive scene.

Release Date
Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel's initial release date was on January 18, 2022. While the mobile release date was on January 26, 2022 for select countries, but it is now available worldwide as of February 2nd.
